Could Low Oil in my Generator Cause This?

UPDATE
The genset ran well and straight powering everything for 7 hours and then again the "power" side shut down. I shut off the genset. Checked oil again and all is well. Restarted genny and it runs like normal but no power generation. Also interesting is that my hour meter on the dash for the genny is not moving while it's running. Stuck on 115.7 hours.
Who do you trust to work on these other than Cummings? Especially on a weekend. I can wait if necessary and find a CG and have it looked at once I get to the Sarasota area.
