Talked to a tech at Lazy Days on the phone. He stated my model, the 5500 has a known issue with a slow oil leak which drips on the drive belt causing it to lose traction and as a result it does what mine is doing and stops electricity generation.

You just cannot win. Your previous post about the CW that was screwed up your visit and NOW, a so called RV tech at Lazydays tells you you have a belt driven Genset, which you do NOT. BTW, MOST large RV service centers, you will NEVER,NEVER talk to a REAL Technician. They have better more important MONEY making things to do than talk to a person on the phone. You will usually talk to a wannabe Tech Service Advisor. THEY don't know anything about operation and repair of RV's. Doug
