Could someone help with a refrigerator issue?
I was hoping that someone could help us with a refrigerator issue.
My husband went to start our Dometic gas/electric fridge. He pushed the gas start button and nothing happened. No clicking noise (which always sounds when the gas starts up) at all.
He waited a bit and tried again. Nothing. Tried again. Nope.
Se, he fired up the generator (we are not connected to electric at home)and was able to get the refrigerator to start with the generator current. Once he turned the generator off, the refrigerator switched itself to gas. We left for a trip and had no trouble with the refrigerator for the rest of the week-end. It stayed on gas while we drove to a campground and then switched to electricity once we set up.
Upon returning home, and once the fridge was off, my husband once again tried to start the fridge by pressing the gas button. Nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong.
