Covering cars when towing

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on covering your towed vehicle. I have a tow dolly that I plan on towing our Acura on behind our Class A motorhome. I dont think the motorhomes rear tires are back far enough to kick up much splash but the Acura is my wives baby and I wouldn't want to get any rock chips or broken windshields. Any in expensive suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

  • x3 for Protect-a-Tow. Your toad will get dusty (especially if driving in the rain over road construction!) but no scratches. Use a Touchless Carwash to get the dirt off at your destination.

I would not cover it, Odds are the cover will do more damage than it will protect from. If a bit of sand or grit gets under the cover and it moves about in the breeze it will abraid the finish somethign fierce.

Instead try something like the Protect-a-tow Though I have yet to install it on the NEW towed, I used on on my old towed, Very impressed with the job it did.
  • Our MH has a rock guard that is behind the rear wheels. It is the width of the MH and very close to the ground...our tow vehicle is very seldom (if ever...never noticed it) hit with debris.

I've seen Bra's used on tow dollies. You can buy them at CW.
