cracked ex manifold or gasket
I have read that the 454 chevy cast iron exhaust manifolds are prone to cracking. Is it easy to see? I would rather that the gaskets are bad

You really want the manifolds to be completely cracked and worthless. It is much easier to convince DW that you need to buy headers if the manifolds are actually cracked, rather than just leaking.
