Hi allWe are camped at the Expo Center in Glen Rose TX. We were in an ugly ice storm last night and ended up with a cracked fitting on our warer line. Does anyone know the closest RV parts or hardware store to the Expo center? Or a mobile RV guy that could help us out. I did a Google search but found nothing. Of course we left our tow car at home this trip and brought the scooters. Never expected such cold weather. Thanks and Happy New Year.

Some better HW stores have the same fittings and water line material (Pex).

Bennetts RV in Grandbury they have a number for a mobile repair guy I don't have his number but give them a call,

What fitting cracked,, Many are standard plumbing items, PEX itself is more or less frost proof, but the elbows and such are hard plastic and do break.My water system has aux heat so I do not often have issues.

X2 they will have everything, including water lines, that you'll need to repair it. Only tool you'll need is a sharp knife....Dennis

So what part failed and where is it located in your MH?

It would be of interest to know because all so many first timers ask, "will I be OK below 32F?" etc etc

Thanks for the great feedback. Because everyone was closed today for the holiday. We managed to jerry rig it back together with a clamp and a prayer. It still leaks when the pump runs, but we are just turning it off and on between uses.
It will get us through the weekend and we can pickup the parts next week.
