The quickest way to tell if it's a scam is to call them up and tell them you want to look at it tomorrow. If it's a scam, they'll start giving you all sorts of reasons you can't look at it:
It's in the shop have work done so it's ready for the new buyer
Their brother, or mother or someone has borrowed it
It's in secure storage at a military or government storage area where they're not allowed
