I have a question? I was hooked to 50 amp in a park in Denver, NC. 2 weeks ago I had a surge gard in place and the a/C running. after 1/2 hr we went to supper and gone about 2 hrs. MH was cooling down fine when I left. Upon return my a/c unit and area around MH was stinking of burnt Oil(capacitor smell) a/c running but not cooling. all breakers on and surgegard normal. When we returned to home(Brick House) we put it in the shop. Tech said it burnt up 2 run capacitors 1 start capacitor, printed circuit board, harness to ac from capacitor back through unit. Tech said low voltage caused the damage. all breakers were still set. surgegard normal had 12v to board and blinking. What Happenend?
