Crossfire and a TPMS together

I'm looking at getting a TST TPMS for my coach and toad. The question is this I have a crossfire tire equalizer on my drive tires. Can I just hook up one sensor on each crossfire? I'm guessing that will work and read the equalized pressure, just not sure about the temp reading. Guess it just reads the temp of the air in the tires?
  • I have the TST 507 system and they do read the tire temp. I do not know how accurate they are, but I can see the temp going up as I drive.
  • I think only TPMS that you mount inside the tire have temperature readings as the sensor attached to valve will never have good readouts.
Regardless temperature, or not, I lost couple of tires to Crossfire and CatEye till I figure out the only way to use equalizing hose is with TPMS
  • I think that is the only reasonable way to do it.
You have add-on TPMS that read temperature?
