As it is an '06 for emissions it may have lift pump seals not designed for ULSD. If you can see it it may leak fuel, mine did. Your symptoms are similar to when mine quit. If it is the old style lift pump you can tighten the top bolts, that got me home ~1500 miles. If it is leaking out the electrical connection you will probably have to have it repaired. Bad fuel is always a possibility, too.
