I'll agree to a certain degree, but how much cupboard space do you need. These RV's are not designed to replace your kitchen at home. My sister and I have had a running joke for years. She's always complaining about not having enough cupboard space. When I look, she has two full sets of ceramic dishes. She used to carry an 18" tall lobster pot. I asked her what that was used for....duh.....lobster. She had five or six different serving trays.
I know some like to cook and need more stuff, but don't forget, in an RV, just because a cupboard isn't within a few feet of the kitchen sink, doesn't mean it can't be used for food. You can only put so many cabinets in the kitchen area before it looks cluttered or really shrinks down the size of the coach in that area.
Our soft drinks and water are under the bed. A lot of our disposable dining ware, paper towels, plastic storage bags and other kitchen items are stored in the full wall of cupboards in our half bath, adjacent to the kitchen. Our dry products like cereal, crackers and chips are in the cupboards over the sofa.
I think very few coaches are designed for people who love to cook versus those you eat out, cook outside and limit their cooking to less exotic meals.
