"Loaded for bear" and over weight. Another "engineer" who thinks that they can somehow increase hitch capacity ratings with a welder and knows better than the manufacturer. Just want to make sure that I am not behind or along side this guy (or others) when the equipment failure happens.

he may not be an engineer but looking at the pictures whoever did the build and installation did a perfect and very safe job by the looks of everthing.OP says 56000lb I think he may be 500lbs lite on that estimate but who cares its a very well done safe set up
I guess I am missing something? What has the picture of a trailer got to do with the overweight capacity issue? I for one, am not making a comment on the trailer. It is the combined capacity that is the issue. The combined capacity exceeds the rated capacity. Really pretty simple.
