As I said overweight or not is something I'm not going to worry about (that is your problem) My concern is the torque placed on the cross member the hitch receiver is mounted on due to the use of the drop hitch adapter.

My recommendation is inspect it and the end brackets often... IF (I stress IF) my concerns are warranted odds are you will see the problem and be able to take care of it BEFORE it is a serious problem.

And I type from experience.
