I am a CDL holder. The OP has done a very nice job with the welding. The issue is more complex than it would seem. There are legal issues some states require all vehicles over than 16,000# GCWR or GVWR to stop at weigh and inspection stations. They will check your registration and Federally required weight sticker. I have been through one. They may not stop you but if they do your unit could be red tagged and you could get a large ticket. The other risk is liability. If you are over any of your placarded weights you could be sued. If you have an accident and kill or injure someone you could be criminally charged. There is an attorney behind every bush. Lastly you could be without insurance most insurance companies will decline to insure such setups. If you have claim that they could decline to pay or pay and cancel you.
While what the OP built a really nice setup and it probably is perfectly safe I beleve that it is critical that the other factors be considered.
