I still have my flat towing equipment and Jeep is still set up for it when I don't plan on boating during certain travels, as to carrying boat on Jeep OH NO, that would required a frame setup on Jeep and a boat stuck on top while going out to eat or just driving around, beside even that small boat and motor weights 275lbs, try removing that and putting it back on top.
Positive notes about the trailer setup, no more wear and tear on Jeep and tires, I can backup unlike flat towing, I can get a slightly bigger boat and motor if I want and no more double towing issues, I can go anywhere now..
AND, there is no discussion about brakes and a breakaway system. On that trailer, at that GVW, they are required by law in EVERY state!
AND the trailer is available for other uses if/when necessary.
AND you can take ANY vehicle that will fit on the trailer, not just the Jeep!
Yessir, trailers are handy!
