Don't know about everyone else but on mine, the condenser is in the front and the compressor is in the rear...that's a lot of line where a leak can occur! so while it's the same as a car, it's a tad more involved. Honestly, mine has not worked since I've owned the MH(about 13 year's) and I do most of my traveling in the South West during the Hot months. Last time I was at the Cat service center here in town to have a programming issue done, they did say they have done some retro work on older refrigerant models to newer ones and that they could do it for a reasonable amount.
Anyways, my point, CAT and Cummin's Service centers can do the work too!
