That is NOT a Blend door in the sense I am talking about. What THAT door does, it allows outside air to flow over the evap/heater core. When on MAX AC, that door closes and allows inside air to recirculate to allow more colder air. When that Blend door is OPEN, it allows outside air to then be heated or Cooled depending on what you pick. But that door does not reroute already heated or Cold air like in a Auto. Doug
Yes, it is a blend door ("DOOR - BLEND AIR" in Winnebago speak). The recirculation door ("DOOR - RECIRCULATION") is item #13. It's controlled by a vacuum servo, item #16. The blend door is controlled by a servo, item #22.
You are correct. BUT, as you all want to argue, there is NO way to really regulate the HOT air thru the system. Once the Heater Core gets to the engine temp, there is no way to cool down that air like in an Automobile. You can run the Dash AC part and use the Evap to help cool the air, but you will always get HOT air. Diesels do not have this much of a problem as they usually run cooler when it is cold outside. Usually in very cold climates, people complain that their Diesel Motorhome Hot air output is not very good. AND, I am very familiar with Evans/Tempcon systems. Doug
