The ease at which a roller shade is installed, highly depends on what kind of work space that is provided inside the valance. The way our valances are designed, there's no possible way to be able to get screws into the brackets, ANY of Blind Chalet's brackets, much less any form of a screw driver. I even spoke with a couple of their designers and had them send me the two forms of their mounting brackets, just to see if I could figure some way of adapting them to another mounting system.
For us, and our coach, an '04 Itasca Horizon, the MCD system for mounting is pretty much the only ones that I could use. I've got other ideas in the works, that will maybe allow for us to procure Blind Chalet versions. We'll see.
