I have a day/night shade that has only 3 holes 1 on each end and 1 in the center. I looked at all the youtube videos I could find and bought at day/night shade first Aid kit. but nothing shows mine? there was 2 string in the center hole tied at the top coming straight down and the ones on each end was connected to the spring at the top. does anyone have a diagram of one line mine? 1994 HR.
David,
While it depends on how wide the shades are which, determines how many strings are needed for the total operation, about 99.9999999% of the day/night shades I've seen, only have the one/two strings on each side that come down to the adjusters, usually mounted on the wall. Now, you may have a "three string" version or, maybe a four string but two are together in the center (never actually seen that). In any case, I'm presupposing you still only have one adjuster on each side at the bottom. Those are what gives you enough tension to create the friction needed to make those blind operate correctly.
