The reason I replaced the cable is, one of the connectors was loose, high resistance, resulting in the cable being extremely hot, hence the new cable. It makes no sense to me, why I'm getting different readings on the fuse either. I know a fuse is just a bridge, unless there's a diode somewhere in there.
