The float chargers (like a battery minder) requires 120vac to operate. If the op has 120vac available, he might as well just plug in the motor home to it and the inverter/charger will keep the batteries charged.
Without access to 120vac, the only true way to keep the batteries from discharging is like Bill mentioned above. A true disconnect switch, or remove ground cable.
