There's a good very good chance if he puts that 4k in the bank it'll be in his pocket and actual savings. Really not sure why Executive claims that is laughable. Giving it to someone else for a piece of mind in my mind is laughable. I'd suspect 95 % of those who have purchased one never use it or if they do its once or twice and never come close to breaking even.
There is another post on a different forum discussing this same issue. Most agree and have here over the years, its not worth the money. Sure you could be the one that it is, but a great chance you won't be. Otherwise someone else is making money off your insecurity.
And this come from someone who has had other extended warranties and have one on my MH. I'd get what remaining money back if I could. But the wife keeps begging me not to.
The percentage of winners is minuscule. If it was such a great deal the warranty companies would be out of business.
