Dealer says 260 Now says 315 cummins
I looked at a monaco, dealer said it had the 260, i said no thanks. Then they call and say it has the 315. The owners manual in the coach says 315 8.3 liter isc, how do i know for sure ?

8.3 liter displacement assures you that it is not a 260.
Most mechanical C8.3's were either 300 HP or higher.
