On the new rigs maiden trip, the LCI levelers, quit. We were 500 miles away in Reno. I was told by the local Winnebago dealer that they were too busy to perform warranty work on units they didn't sell. We got by with the old lego levelers and parks with level sites until we returned home. I complained to Winnebago and was told that the "deal" WBGO had with their dealers was to perform on warranty on any WBGO product that the dealer sells. I got an apology letter from the dealer in Reno area saying my rig would be welcome there and that the Service Writer should not have told me this. (He could have just gave me an appointment a month out or more and I would have never known) Anyway, the selling dealer (70 miles from me) performed on the issue. Next time I needed warranty work, a more local dealer graciously took on the work, honoring their commitment to WBGO. Long wait times, I think, are a combination of things, including lower billed warranty work, season, lack of service facilities in an area. Waited 4 weeks just to get diagnosed and another 6 weeks for slide out parts and repair. A major SoCal dealer (McMahon's) had just gone under and the repair facility dealer had lost one of there facilities when California made them leave a city to make room for new freeway lanes. Timing is important.
