HOW can you have an Agreement on price, when you state your trade in was an obstacle??????? Since you were obviously trading in, there could never have been an agreement on price. What you probably meant was- you had a agreement on the price of the new RV and the hold up was HOW MUCH they were giving you on your trade. What year/Brand/model were you trying to buy? They were NOT shady. You think they sold it out from under you. YOU did not have a firm deal and they sold to the customer that paid first. Money talks---BS walks, that is the world we live in. Doug

I, too, would find somewhere else to find a motorhome. I think it's good that you found out how they treat their customers before the deal. We don't know their side of the story but just following your side, if the lack of communication is evident now, just think what it would have been like when you took possession of the motorhome and had problems?Good luck,MM.

Not sure what your trying to accomplish. I too think there are two sides to every story. I'm sure we'll never know the other side. If you were able to achieve selling your unit ( which you made all the money on) and obtain financing, go wherever you wish to buy what you want.I'm thinking there was some agreement or consideration they were going to make some money off your old RV, and when you sold it on your own the deal didn't work for them. In the interim they found someone else willing to pay more for the one you wanted. You won by selling your old MH and they won selling theirs for more money. Win win in my book. Did you give them a deposit?

I guess a courtesy call from the dealer would be expecting to much from the looks of some of the replies.

I'm not mad. I asked for people opinions and that is what I got. One should never ask a question if they cant handle the answer.

The RV was nice and I would have liked to have bought it but it did not work out that way. I ended up finding the same year and model closer to home. It is lower mileage but cost me a few more grand.
