Deposit on MH purchase?
What is "average or normal " deposit when purchasing a new MH? Are most deposits refundable ? I realize they will vary from dealer to dealer.

I would never put down a deposit that wasn't 100% refundable, and I don't think I've ever been asked to. The two motorhomes I bought it was clear the deposit was refundable. The only reason they ask for a deposit (unless it's not refundable) is a sales psychology thing. Once you've got money on the table for some people it helps to persuade them to go through with the deal versus asking for their money back.
