- John_WayneExplorer IIIs it a white roof and sides? If so just get some 4" wide Eternabond cover the seam and old calk and never have to worry about it again.

How do you apply Dicor, a self leveling sealer, to the vertical surface on front and rear caps? If silicone has been used how do you prep?
Yes like it was already stated Dicor makes an non sag sealant. Just used it on my parents Class C for a vertical seam, worked very nicely. - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIDicro non-leveling OR Geocel Proflex for vertical and horizontal surfaces on sidewalls/trim etc.
IF silicone has been previously used........
Need to peel/remove all silicone and then you have to use a silicone remover to get rid of the residue that silicone leaves behind. Silicone won't even stick to silicone...that is why you don't want to use it on an RV. - J-RoosterExplorer

X-2, I did my roof seams two years ago!
As said in the post above, Dicor makes a self leveling caulk for use on the roof seams. Dicor also makes a caulk which is non sagging and that can be used on vertical seams. Stop at any RV supply store and they will more than likely have an assortment of RV caulking suitable for vertical use. In fact I just purchased a tube of caulk yesterday for $11 and hope to use it later this week on vertical seams. I will probably remove the existing caulk, clean the seam and then apply the new stuff.
Hope this info helps. - Bill_DianaExplorerAs said in the post above, Dicor makes a self leveling caulk for use on the roof seams. - Big_KatunaExplorer IIThey also make a non leveling version.
