Did I find a Unicorn? Bounder 30T

Seriously. I've been searching the internet for days to find information on a 2014 Fleetwood Bounder Classic 30T. I'm not having any luck finding the pros and cons of this Class A. I have an opportunity to buy one for a price that is amazing. It's like brand new. We've been in TT since 1998 and would like to make the jump to Class A. I'm looking forward to any and all feedback that I can get. Thanks Much!
  • I did search. The closest thing I found was a Fleetwood forum. Not a lot of activity there.:D I was able to read a little bit about some of the other models. I'm just having a hard time learning things about the '14 30T.
  • did you look for a bounder owners group and ask your question there
  • Bounder is the middle of the road quality when it comes to Class A motorhomes, they are good units, they even make a Bounder with a rear diesel, or at least they use to..
  • Thanks for the replies. We're just trying to do our homework. We've been in travel trailers since 1998. Our current TT is really nice but we feel it's time to move on to something more relaxing. This particular model has a bigger generator and two AC units. Most of the entry level class A's we've looked at didn't.
  • The 2014 is built by the new Fleetwood company based in Indiana the pre BK Fleetwood was based in California, you need to talk with new Bounder owners to see if any issues, my 08 is the older Fleetwood and its been a great unit so far.
  • We are on our third Bounder, 1994 we had for 2 years, a 1996 we had for 17 years, and now have had a 2006 for 3 years. All have been satisfactory with normal maintenance. We would go with another Bounder when purchasing again.
  • I did own older Bounder and they are lower end ClassA. Main problem with it was that the manufacturer build 32' house on 25' frame with lousy extensions.
Not too many buyers want to realize that even lot of expensive ClassA have about 0 crash protection, what I did consider selling the Bounder and buying a conversion.
If you are fine with the crash risk, inspecting the coach should be easy.
Make sure engine was maintained, all cabinet doors close smoothly, everything works.
After 2-3 years on the road any major flaws usually show up.
Being member here for 11 years, I guess you read about common issues already
Looks like we have same anniversary date. ;)
