Yes, but also in RVs they spec higher HP than their MDT counterparts (most box trucks still only have 200-240 hp). Another big one is cooling. Engine makes have little control over how RV makers package their engines and manage airflow, radiator stacking etc. Finally some engine changes are made to allow for smaller packaging, such as smaller filters, combing filters and separators etc.
