I have a 40' 2003 Travel Supreme with a Spartan Mountain Master chassis, Cummins ISL 400. On a recent trip I left the fuel cap at the service station. I am having a difficult time finding a replacement. I went to NAPA then a local RV dealer - he said call Spartan, Spartan said to call Cummins, Cummins said to call Camping World, Camping World told me to call Cummins.......and so on.Any suggestions on where a cap can be had? Would greatly appreciate some help with this.

Not the same vehicle, but I wanted a locking cap for my Ram with the Cummins diesel and went to O'Reilly auto parts. The clerk said that they either had one or they could get one for me. Luckily for me, they had what I needed in stock. Maybe they can help you out.

I am guessing it is most likely a cap used for over-the-road diesel trucks. Might want to check a truck parts dealer.Ray

Did the same thing with my coach. I went to a auto parts store that had a large assortment of fuel caps and found one that fit. I believe it was a NAPA store.

I also had the same problem. Go to NAPA or other parts store and ask for a cap that will fit a 2002 GMC Durmax diesel, they have both locking and regular about $20 for the locking kind.

I went to Napa in a smaller town in Norcal. They just asked "vented or non-vented". Then looked at my second cap and sold me a replacement for the first cap.

I bought two caps just in case. Have not lost a cap since.

I just ordered this locking cap as a replacement for the OEM caps on my Entegra. Most likely the same cap as your Travel Supreme. I will have them by Friday, if you PM me I will confirm whether it fits my coach or not

I did the same thing. My coach is on the same chassis, but is not a TS. I bought a Murray 6822 cap from O'reilly's (checker at the time).

PS:I'm guessing since you left it at a station that it's not like the truckers have that's chained to the tank??

Our National RV has a "Seadog" plug as a fuel cap. The small plastic wrench on my keyring has the Seadog name and was easy to locate on line.

Guilty party here too. Take the cap you have to NAPA. They will be able to match it.

I did same thing but next fuel stop asked attendant if they had any and she pointed to a box of several lost and forgotten caps. Even found one that was green and had diesel printed on it.
Picked one out that fit and have not "lost" another since.
Seems to be a common thing

A picture of your other cap would help a lot.
I do know that some older coaches used a screw on cap the same as used on diesel boats. You might check with a marine dealer.
