A US gal is 3.78 liters so its "only" $5.11 per gallon (3.78 X 1.35). (In USD, adjusting for US dollar value (aprox 8% diff), it works out to about $4.70 USD per gallon. Still not cheap I agree and I usually fill up in the US as well. To fill my rig at 1.35 per liter costs around $765 - anything I can save off that is great.
