My decision for the diesel is based on many factors...
1. Heavier coach means better ride.
2. 10 outside air bags means no sway in wind or traffic (trucks)
3. No engine noise while driving. I can actually talk to my wife.
4. 2 stage engine brake. Rarely have to use service brakes.
5. More pulling capacity. 10,000# vs 3500 to 5000.
6. More capacity for FW, fuel, black and grey waters.
7. More overall CCC.
Fifth year full timing and we put about 25,000 miles per year on the coach. I've owned three diesels and put over 200,000 miles combined. By far they have been less expensive to operate than my gassers were.
@WyoTraveler...read what I wrote...I said comparable coaches, not entry level vs Prevost. And I would take my Executive over a Prevost any day...this coach works for us, I haven't seen a Prevost yet that would.....just sayin....Dennis
