I was wondering the same thing. On the CA smog certificate it says it's a 10 cylinder (I assume a V10) But you are right, the big block V8 460 was not replaced until 1999. So how did a V10 7.5 end up in a 1996 RV? And is there such a thing? Now I'm wondering if the V-10, that it supposedly has, is better than a 460? I have an E350 15-pax van with the V10 and really like that engine. It has 150K miles on it and it still runs smooth, true and quiet. I did do an OEM tune-up at 100K as required by Ford.
