Differences between Freightliner Chassis?

We have the XCR Freightliner Chassis. The frame is raised which gives more room in the storage bays.

Certainly, one bathroom will get the job done.

In three weeks I'm taking my two great nieces (age 13, they are cousins to each other) to Hot Springs, AR, to Magic Springs water and theme park. They will use the two sofas as they open to make nice double beds.

They can use the half bath for their 'primping' as 13 yr. old girls will probably do. This will be their bathroom for 'their' stuff. They can take a shower in the main bath then go back to the half bath and have their 'time' in front of the mirror.

A bath and a half is just a 'luxury' but is welcome when you have more than two people.

If there was ever a reason for a half bath is grandkids! I've got a gaggle of them and parents to go along with them and can't even think of not having a half bath to support the little monsters, I mean wonderful children!!!

And a DP is looking to be the right move for the traveling we want to do and the amount of time and miles we will spend in it. Not that a gasser wouldn't do it, I just think the DP will do it better. It also took me a while to realize that a bus style entry gives more room to living and kitchen area and that's important to me.

Also beyond all the other points made already FL does stuff exclusively for different coach mfg's. They do a chassis for Bago that results in way more basement height than others. I believe it's on the Journey & Tour.

XCR = Raised Rail

XCS = Spring

XCM = Module Chassis

XCS is the straight rail chassis

If you read and compare the spec sheets downloaded from that link they will tell you what the differences are between whichever chassis you are comparing. They may have different frames, brakes, suspension, load ratings, etc.
