Ok who can tell me which state has different diesel fuel prices at the commercial truck pumps than at the car pumps. I was out west and believe it was Arizona where the price per gallon was about .15 cents cheaper at the car lanes that at the truck lanes due to an additional tax that is added to the truck lanes. reason was that they were heavier and caused more damage to the roads. I remember going to the auto pumps to get fuel. Are there any other states that do that?
Interesting. Not sure if true or not. I do know trucking companies get discounts depending on amount of gallons purchased. Autos get their discount immediately at the pump. I also know in some states prices vary depending on tourist volumn. In Cody, WY price is higher than in Powell, WY up the road a few miles that doesn't get tourists. They get fuel from same vendors.
