- pauldubExplorerAnother option is to just throw away the jackknife and put in recliners. You can probably buy recliners for less than hiring out the upholstery.
- KristinUExplorerDo you need the cushioning replaces or just the fabric recovered? If it is just the fabric, I bet you could tackle it yourselves. I recovered ours last fall and we're happy with the results. The jacknife was definitely more tricky, but not awful, it was all hand sewn. The dinette was done by machine and much more straightforward. I posted a blog post about it: New Upholstery
If you decide to try it yourselves, shoot me a PM if you have specific questions and I'll try to walk you through it. - klutchdustExplorer III had shop4seats.com/rv-seating build a dinette for our Cambria. First class operation done in house. Will build to your specifications. Now I have to find a home
for my rest easy sofa I took out. They are located in La Habra. I guess you are looking just for a reupholsterer - DAS26milesExplorer IIThanks, I was hoping there was someone in the SFV or close by. May have to go to an auto upholsterer. Like I said the cushions are no problem, it's the jackknife sofa that's a lot of work.
- NaioExplorer III had a good experience with Quality Custom Upholstery in El Segundo when I was passing through. Two brothers, nice guys and knowledgeable.
- IAMICHABODExplorer IIWhile this place may be a little farther from you than what you asked for.
Neffs Upholstery did the re-upholstery on my Ex Rental before I bought it and it is Quality work.
They also seemed to match pretty closely the original fabric in color and quality. I am really happy with the results.
