Direct TV Trucker Waiver
Has anyone on here used the Trucker Waiver from Direct TV to get abc, nbc, cbs, or fox on their non-HD Direct TV satellite? The only way to get these channels in east Tenn. is to upgrade to HD or us...

Didn't find out until the our last trip that a our "big Brother", tax every thing government created a new "regulation" for viewing the national channels when away from our prime location. Of course, DTV benefits from the extra fees, so they haven't raised Cain over the issue. I got the paperwork, and felt that it just wasn't worth the hassle or the extra monthly expense and now I find out that I have to have an HD box. I just go on and hook up the local cable feed during set up. I'm not a big fan of the national channels or their news programs and hook to the cable primarily to catch local weather.
