The roof on my Motor home is very dirty. I attempted to clean it using my pressure washer with TSP and scrubbing brush but it did not get clean. I am looking for suggestions as to how I might get it clean enough for a reseal. Any advice would be appreciated.

Dawn and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works pretty good...then a coat of Mop and Glow.

It is the roof! How clean does a roof need to be? How clean is the roof on your sticks and bricks house? When was the last time you cleaned that roof?

Yeah, it's going to be a hands and knees job to get it really clean....but like already said, you probably have stains that won't come off. So you can just concentrate on cleaning the seal areas and apply the Dicor instead of trying to de-stain the entire roof. I spent about 5 hours on my roof on my hands and knees with a rag, soap/water, and lots of elbow grease....and still couldn't get the stains off. Just my $.02 worth......

Dirty or just stained? My MH roof is stained. I would just wash with soap and water, then use mineral spirits in the area that needs repairs. Let the mineral spirits dry and appoy your dicor or sticknbnd tape.

The OP wants the roof clean for a reseal. I don't think it's wise to put a coating over dirt.
