All,
Just a thought. The further from the manufacturer, the higher the shipping cost. Also, do you really want the transit driver to break in your $100k plus coach?
Why not see if you can buy the unit locally and pick it up in Winkler, Manitoba? I think we may try that.
My $0.02 and worth every penny,

Or, find a unit that was trucked, rather than driven, to the dealer. I realize that likely won't happen with a Sprinter - to high - but, for a Ford or Chevrolet based "B" it can work with a lowboy trailer.
We bought our PW Lexor from a dealer that is just over 2,000 miles from Saskatoon, SK and it had about 150 miles on the odometer at delivery. That was consistent with the paperwork - which indicated it was trucked - and our "look/see" for road grime.
While I do agree with concerns about the "driven to the dealer deliveries", there is occasionally an alternative.
Or, sometimes, a cooperative dealer/manufacturer/customer "arrangement" will permit the buyer to pickup the unit at the factory. That will sometimes mean it still has to go to the dealer for "prep" etc. (i.e., you can't use the unit for the initial trip), but at least you'll know how it was driven from factory to dealer.
While I've never done that with an RV, I have done it with our "built to order" utility trailer. I was quoted $850 factory to dealer freight. I said I'll go get it. All parties agreed and I had a pleasant trip and saved some money.
Cheers.
