Tough question to answer. Plenty of folks like the Dish pay as you go plan. For me, I have DirecTV at home, so I purchased 2 additional HD receivers and use them at the campground where I have a seasonal park model trailer, and then take the receivers with me when I take off in the motorhome. I have a roof-mounted DirecTV Trav'ler dish on the motorhome - it's pricey, but performs well. Others with DirecTV have portable dishes, but it is my understanding that they cannot pick up HD (high definition) signal.
