It may not be farfetched, but it will be expensive. And given the number of longtime and fulltime RV'ers that would likely be the biggest market for such a unit, and that most of us are of an advanced age, I don't see many of us lugging the unit up and down from the roof. Separate roof and ground units would be much more economical and easier to manage I believe.

I have Dish at home and on the road and I have been happy with them. I use a Pathway X2 when I am on the road It has a bog antenna for a portable system, it gets Dish in HD, and it supports 2 receivers.

I'm a very happy Dish customer!

Ok I see what your saying , well if thats the case my DW really likes the inmotion part of the Dome we have so it looks like I will be ordering 2 Direct Tv SD DVR receivers because can't get HD anyway and not have to pay for HD . We've had 2 HD DVR receivers that we been paying HD monthly fees because that was in the S&B before we started fulltiming. Overall the Dome has been trouble free and we really enjoy it. Thanks for all your help

You can get most of the Dish HD channels with a NEW Winegard Dome. But be advised that is NOT good for 2 recievers. The Dish HD channels are on 3 sats and the dome will only lock onto 1 sat at a time. So, if using 2 receivers, 1 receiver will be the primary and the other the slave. What Doug says !! We have had Dish since day one, and about 18 months ago, got rid of the in motion device that came with the coach and bought the Winegard Travler, which gets all 3 Sats and has 2 LNBs, all is good. If the DW or kids just have to see something on tv, while I'm driving (note to self - teach someone else in the family to drive the RV), they can watch a movie in the bedroom !!!!!
