I doubt your Knight bounces all that much and the new TV does not weigh over 15lbs and none of that weight is on the latch...all on the two new hinges at the bottom. Because the floor of the box slopes slightly downward we installed the strap that was around the old TV so it will keep items that he puts in the box from pushing on the back of the TV while bouncing down the road. Doubt the massive acceleration of a DP will put 10lbs of force on the latch at the top of the TV... would take a total of 20lbs against the back of the TV.
