DIY Water Pump Replacement

Just finished a day-long adventure with my less that 3-year-old shu=flo water pump. I could not believe it had failed, tried everything to avoid installing a new one but no such luck. I decided to upgrade with a stronger, quieter model. When I got home with the new one it would not fit in the space I had behind the panel in that bay, so I went back and swapped for the 3-gal per minute version that had failed. I'm proud of my day's work. It's all in and buttoned back up and, it works! I'm getting too old for this DIY stuff but I do enjoy it.

    Been there, done that. I feel your pain. At least I've only got one knee that hurts after these kind of jobs. RV space is a premium but I swear they just mount things in areas to make my body mad at me.

    In 3 years someone else will have to change it. Maybe it will last long enough that the next owner will get that pleasure.

    I feel your pain. It used to be, when I got down I couldn't get back up. Now, I can't even get down. I can fall over fairly easily though. :E
