Do Class A drivers need instructions before driving

I have witnessed many scary things while traveling and talked to so many A drivers that didn't have a clue of any mechanical systems.....or anything about anything except how to unlock the door. ...

Every time I see one of these sort of threads start I wonder what if anything constructive will be the outcome or will the thread evolve to the point where I end up closing it...
