IMHO the whole motor cycle helmet issue is not even close to a comparison to whether certain vehicles should require certain special licenses for the driver.
When I MC rider chooses to ride with no helmet, when he crashes and his head is split apart like melon on the road.......it has hurt NO other driver on the road.
When I drive with them on the highway I know that a biker without a helmet is NOT going to cause me any harm.
Helemt's have 'nothing' to do with safety. His helmet on or off does not affect his driving capabilities and most certainly it is not going to put other drivers in harm's way. :R
