All the safety courses in the world will not change idiots and morons into anything else. I have witnessed too many tractor/trailer drivers to believe anything else. Large trucking companies are putting governors and other equipment on their fleets to regulate their operators. Insurance companies are requiring it because they know drivers can't be trusted to NOT act like idiots and morons in spite of all their training. At the end of the day, notwithstanding all of the training it is in man's nature to revert back to being an idiot and a moron when they are behind the wheel. It is even happening in the auto insurance industry, just ask FLO and let her plug into your car to record your driving habits. If they are good you get a lower rate, if they are not well you get a higher rate. Driver's training is not a bad thing, but in no way does it change the fact that if you are prone to drive like an idiot/moron you will still drive like one after all of the training.
