I have a Class A-CDL and I can tell you the last thing RV's want is for the government tell you that they want you to have one. You need class room and road training plus an out of state physical card that must be renewed every 12 months. The physical card requirements would stop half the RV's from getting a Class A license because they look at what medications you're taking and if you're a Diabetic forget it. And if you're carrying a class C,B or A CDL and your issued a summons the fine is double that of a regular drivers license. All I can say is good luck to all of you want to be CDL drivers........
