Ok, I'm replacing the tires, was thinking of going to one of the tires suggested, but, a mechanic friend said to me "is it worth it to save $1000 when the tire blows, and you are sent into traffic". His point was, get the best, which he thinks are Michelin's. So, the responses I've heard are Cooper, Hankook and Hercules.
Has anyone had or heard of a bad experience with those manufactures.
I've never heard of continuing bad experiences with any brand, regardless of origin or price and there's no way that any manufacture can afford that, as recalls and lawsuits could put them out of business in short order. Hercules for one, has been around for 50yrs or more, so........
As for problems here and there, a big yes with any of them and even though it may be because there's more of one than the other, but I'm betting you can find more threads with Michelin problems, that you can with Hercules. In fact, I've never seen any with the latter and had them on another coach, along with the one we have now. As for Michelin and some others, someone has to pay for their huge marketing expense.
Not only that my 295x22.5 Michelins are 800$ and Hercules are $367
