This is my opinion: Most thieves are weak punks who ALWAYS take the path of least resistance. So getting the tow bar out of the receiver hitch isn't anything most weak punk thieves would complete. From there they'd need to know how to put it in gear from neutral. For me, I would do whatever I could to prevent my motorhome from burning, as I like my rig and don't want to lose it or the priceless items that might be in it. I won't commit to saying whether my tow bar is locked or not, but I'm not too worried about the lock being the reason for someone stealing my toad. Remember, this is my opinion. Tommy :B
