Do not use awnings in heavy rain?????? Really???

Our electric awning also has the piston / shock to auto dump, and can be lowered and tightened if wanted / needed. Here in Florida during the summer we get out afternoon storms and barring wind, there is no longer a need to rush back to the camper simply because of heavy rains......it simply dumps it's!

Also, if the winds picks up in the middle of the night, you simply push the button and go back to bed while it retracts!
